Versa performed the best among all its market competitors by being the only one to earn the highest possible rating ("Good") in the front, side, and rear impact tests conducted by IIHS. Versa performed exceptionally well in the high-speed 40-mph frontal offset crash test into a deformable barrier. It also performed well in the side test, where Versa’s standard roof-mounted and seat-mounted side-impact supplemental air bags prevented contact between the striking barrier and the heads of the crash-test dummies. In the rear impact evaluation, Versa also received a "Good" rating.
